Barnard Castle Golf Club strongly supports junior golf and has an active junior membership.

Ladies
A warm welcome is extended to ladies of all abilities. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned handicapper, Barnard Castle is a friendly, welcoming and beautiful place to play golf. We have an active Ladies Section with golf and social events running throughout the year.
Men’s
Throughout the whole year we play competition golf at Barnard Castle
From spring to winter we play qualifying competitions on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. During winter on Saturday and Sunday we play our winter league competitions.
On Wednesday evenings during the summer months our men’s team play in the Teesside District Union League.
Seniors
Monday is the main Seniors day where we regularly have 30 plus playing. There are informal “roll-ups” on Wednesdays and Fridays with stableford being the most popular format.
The free-spirited ethos of the Seniors means that there is a draw for partners for every game; no one knows who their playing partner will be before they attend any Seniors occasion.
We play home and away friendly matches against other clubs in the area for just the price of a post-match meal. The team-picking is designed to give all our members an equal chance to take part.
