Located in beautiful County Durham, Barnard Castle Golf Club is just one mile north of the town towards Middleton in Teesdale. The relatively flat parkland course is noted for its natural surroundings including 4 streams that run throughout the course and come in to play on many of the holes.
The course is a par 73 and offers a fair, though sometimes difficult test of golfing skills.
Over the years Barnard Castle have produced many talented golfers that have gone on to be professionals, “Robert Dinwiddie” a former junior member played in the 2005 Walker Cup . Even today Robert occasionally returns to have a game with his family and friends.
You can always be assured of a warm welcome from all the team at Barnard Castle.
